We are happy to announce that on December 29th 2011, SITAEL AEROSPACE Srl and MEL SYSTEM Srl completed the merger of the two businesses.

The merger brings together complimentary skill sets and abilities of the companies, strengthening and expanding our product offering, which will continue to focus on design, development, production and qualification of electronics, microelectronics and instrumentation systems.

The goal of the merger of the two companies is to accentuate the existing offerings of the companies, and provide existing and future customers with enhanced and increasingly innovative services and capabilities. The joining of these two companies will allow us to expand our markets, offering our services and products to market such as aerospace, aeronautics, rail, biomedical, industrial and and safety critical applications industries.

The new company that will be formed from this merger is called SITAEL S.p.A.. and the capital investment in the company will be 3 million euro.
