Giornata nazionale dello Spazio 2021 – SITAEL programme
SITAEL joins the National Space Day promoted by the Italian Space Agency and the Italian Ministry for Technological Innovation. The event, which will involve companies and organisations in the sector, will take place in different cities across Italy next December 16, in memory of the launch of Italy’s first satellite: ‘San Marco’. SITAEL will contribute with a rich calendar of meetings, educational programmes and activities dedicated to the extraordinary achievements and opportunities of space exploration. The event full agenda is available on ASI website.

SPACE AS A PROFESSION
SITAEL joins the event organized by the Politecnico di Bari on the occasion of the Italian National Space Day and meets high school students for an informative moment dedicated to the future space experts.
What is the Space Economy and who are the specialists who develop the technologies implemented in the space missions? SITAEL participates in the event organised by the Politecnico di Bari on the occasion of the Italian National Space Day and meets the students of the engineering faculties for an informative moment with the professionists who live space everyday.
The event will be streamed live on the Politecnico’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/PolitecnicodiBariOfficial/
SPACE SCHOOL WITH SITAEL
The experts of the Italian aerospace company meet the students from the ITS Cuccovillo of Bari, from the “Da Vinci – Majorana” Institute of Mola di Bari, from the Liceo Scientifico “E. Amaldi” di Bitetto (Ba) to talk about how much “space” there is in our lives and in our future.
Large economic investments, high risk and goals bordering on the impossible: why are space research and exploration so important? Where do we stand now and what does the future hold? SITAEL is entering the classrooms of the ITS Cuccovillo of Bari, from the “Da Vinci – Majorana” Institute of Mola di Bari, and from the Liceo Scientifico “E. Amaldi” of Bitetto (Ba) to talk about how space research has changed and is changing our lives, as well as to answer students’ questions and to provide them with knowledge tools able to bring them closer to the fascinating world of STEM disciplines.

OPEN DOOR DAY AT SITAEL PISA
SITAEL premises in Pisa (Ospedaletto) open to the students of the higher education institution ‘IIS Da Vinci-Fascetti’ of Pisa, of the Liceo Scientifico Ulisse Dini and of the Faculty of Engineering of the Università of Pisa for a tour of the laboratories where new space propulsion technologies are designed, manufactured and tested.
What is space propulsion and why is it so important for the success of space missions? SITAEL is hosting classes from ‘IIS Da Vinci-Fascetti’ Pisa, from the Liceo Scientifico Ulisse Dini and from the Faculty of Engineering of the Università of Pisa at its Ospedaletto (PISA) facility for a tour through the rooms of the Space Propulsion Department where this technology, increasingly at the centre of modern space research, is developed. Students will have the opportunity to visit the laboratories and the largest Space Simulator in Europe, as well as to talk directly with SITAEL technicians.
