The Italian Prime Minister Mr.Renzi Inaugurates New SITAEL Headquarters

On Saturday 13th September 2014 the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi inaugurated the new SITAEL Headquarters in Mola di Bari, Italy.
The event was attended by over 600 guests including Mrs. Pinotti, Italian Minister of Defense; Mr. Vendola, President of the Apulia Region; Mr. Prodi, Former Italian Premier; Mr. Battiston, President of the Italian Space Agency (ASI); Mr. Ongaro, Head of European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) of the European Space Agency (ESA); Mr. Cojan, Vice President of Safran; Mr. Nicolais, President of the Italian National Research Council (CNR)
Mr. Renzi congratulated the President of Angelo Investments, Mr. Pertosa, for the results and invited him to take this event as the starting point for new achievements.

The new 30,000 m2 Sitael Headquarters will host more than 300 employees and is equipped with state of the art facilities, including 500 m2 Clean Room, Space Simulator, Climatic Chambers, Mechanical Test Facilities, Automatic Assembly Line and qualified production line for Space applications.
SITAEL covers all the processes needed for the Design, Development, and Production of Instruments, Electronics and Microelectronics Systems for a wide range of High Reliability Applications. It is strongly involved in the development of space electric propulsion systems for station keeping, orbit raising and planetary exploration and of turn-key Small Satellite Based Solutions for Earth Observation and Science Applications and Services.
