SITAEL and Politecnico di Milano: Collaboration for Mars Exploration

As part of ESA’s LightShip initiative, SITAEL and Politecnico di Milano are collaborating to define a small, low-cost satellite platform for Mars exploration. This consortium, alongside three others, will independently study spacecraft platforms capable of being transported to Mars by ESA’s LightShip propulsive tug. These studies are funded through the Preparation element of ESA’s Basic Activities.
