SITAEL took part in BEX – Beyond Exploration Expo in Rimini, an international event dedicated to the development of the aerospace sector and the future of space exploration.

During the event, SITAEL CEO Chiara Pertosa signed a Declaration of Intent with the Emilia-Romagna Region aimed at developing industrial and technological cooperation. The initiative is intended to support joint activities in the aerospace sector and explore new opportunities for innovation and development across the regional ecosystem.

“This Declaration of Intent represents a concrete step towards strengthening SITAEL’s presence in Emilia-Romagna and developing new opportunities for growth and innovation together with the Region. The aim is to bring SITAEL’s aerospace expertise to a territory with a strong industrial and technological ecosystem, contributing to the development of an increasingly innovative and competitive supply chain,” said Chiara Pertosa, CEO of SITAEL.

SITAEL also contributed to the BEX conference programme through a series of sessions addressing different aspects of the evolving aerospace sector. Discussions covered the relationship between research, industry and innovation, the role of skills and complexity management in the aerospace industry, and the future evolution of the satellite market.

The participation provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives with institutions, industry and research stakeholders on technological developments, skills and new forms of cooperation shaping the future of the aerospace sector.
