SITAEL Technologies at EUROBIKE 2016
SITAEL’s Internet of Things division officially launches at Eurobike 2016 the latest evolution of its connectivity system for e-bike branded “ESB”. The ESB hardware and software ecosystem has been redesigned to work smarter by offering new accessories and functionalities that will bring the riding experience to a complete new extraordinary level.
August 31st – Friedrichshafen, Germany: The latest evolution of SITAEL renowned “ESB” connectivity system comes with several world premieres this year including its Dynamic Smartphone Docking Station named “MAT” and its fully connected bike-sharing system, an advanced internet-based rental solutions for smart bikes ready to be delivered worldwide.
Initially launched in in 2013, ESB integrates e-Bike, mobile and cloud-computing technologies by using custom-designed electronics with embedded GPS/GPRS modules. The result is an advanced solution that offers innovative features to professional users.
ESB, today, relies on a strong network of international partnerships with some of the top players of the e-bike industry such as BMZ, DLG and Hi-Tech Energy, and also Brose and Continental which has allowed the deeply integration of ESB technology into some of the most innovative e-bike models available on the market such as those designed by eFlow, Diavelo and Bulls.
At Eurobike Show, ESB will launch worldwide the MAT (Magnetic Assisted Tap), a new concept of connected docking station for smartphones. The MAT is a magic bike accessory bringing real connectivity to the bike and delivering in a unique solution a magnetic smartphone holder, an anti-theft GPS/GPRS system, a mobile electronic key, a wireless recharger and a true advanced cockpit. Everything is enabled in a single gesture: the bike will come to life only placing the smartphone on the MAT top surface.
