COOLER DRIVE ELECTRONICS
Pulse tube cryocoolers adoption is more and more frequent over Stirling cryocoolers, because of many advantages associated with the absence of moving parts in the cold head. Pulse tube cryocoolers are now being used or considered for use in cooling infrared detectors for many space applications, from Scientific and Earth Observation satellites to the International Space Station. SITAEL recently conceived and produced a space-born Control Drive Electronics for Pulse Tube Coolers, that demonstrates an extremely accurate control over cryogenic temperature, and has very interesting features against self induced vibrations during normal operation and mechanical shocks during launch phase.
