The Horizon Europe ‘Five 4 Future’ project, funded by the European Commission and dedicated to the realisation of a new 5 kW class electric propulsion system (EPS) for future European missions in MEO, GEO and beyond, has officially started from the SITAEL site in Pisa.
SITAEL, as project coordinator, will lead a team with TAS-Belgium and AST Advanced Space Technologies GmbH, confirming its central role in the development of innovative and sustainable solutions in the field of high-power electric propulsion for geostationary satellites, in-orbit service missions and space exploration, relying on European technologies.
